About Pack 157

Serving area youth since 1934, Cub Scout Pack 157 is a Herndon, Virginia-based Boy Scouts of America (BSA) program available to boys from kindergarten through fifth grade. Activities with Pack 157 are designed to be engaging, fun, and nurturing for boys, focusing on areas that include character development, respectful relationships, service, personal achievement, and citizenship. Activities and events include an annual Pinewood Derby, Blue and Gold Banquet, Fall and Spring family campouts, Cub-mobile Races, and much more!

We meet monthly at Herndon Elementary School, with one-a-month den meetings (usually held at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Herndon). We currently have approximately 50 active youth in our membership, and five dens---Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos Jr., and Webelos Sr.---with a new level and den "Lion Scouts" beginning in the 2016-2017 school year for kindergarten-age boys. Our children and parents represent one of the most culturally and racially diverse groups in Virginia---from countries and regions that include (but isn't limited to) Denmark, Greece, Sweden, the Caribbean, Central and South America, South Korea, and India. Pack 157 member attend several area public and private schools, including Herndon Elementary, The Edlin School, and Oak Hill Elementary. We are a non-denominational group, chartered by the Herndon United Methodist Church (HUMC). Pack 157 welcomes all youth and parents. Join Today!
